Clifftops is located only 5 miles away from Brighton & Hove. It is in a strategic position to explore the East Sussex countryside as well as the seaside. The Downs and Eastbourne are within easy reach and the surrounding area offers a number of picturesque town and villages. The bus service to and from Brighton operates approximately every 20 minutes. The nearest train station is at Newhaven which is 1.5 miles away. Newhaven also has the ferry port where the new fast ferries can get to Dieppe in 2.5 hours.


Pubs and cafes are within walking distance, as well as shops, banks and a supermarket.


Please note that all bills are inclusive in the rent, including Satellite TV.


The three bedrooms (2 double and 1 single) are located on the first floor. They are all equipped with very comfortable beds and premium cotton bedding. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a zip-and-link mattress and can be turned into a twin bedroom (please specify at the time of booking). Both double bedrooms have spectacular, direct seaviews. The single bedroom does not have sea view but faces the tranquil neighbourhood. All rooms receive plenty of natural light.



The bathroom is modern and functional. Located on the ground floor, it features a large bath and a spacious shower with sliding-door cubicle. The combination of white and black tiles on the walls and floor, together with the chrome finishes, gives the bathroom a very modern and elegant look.The underfloor heating keeps the room at the right temperature all year round.For your convenience, soap dispensers have been provided with luxurious Molton Brown’s bath and shower gel, shampoo and hand soap.


The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped: dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, kettle and toaster, microwave oven and fridge-freezer. All kitchenware, cutlery and crockery are provided to cater for 6 people. Tea towels and table linens are also provided. A Victorian dining table seats 6 people comfortably. The mixture of modern kitchen, classic Victorian table and wooden floors, makes the kitchen-diner a warm and elegant living space in the house. The large doors into the garden are fitted with beautiful internal wooden shutters and provide scenic seaviews from the clifftop. The decor is tasteful and minimalistic. Built-in wardrobes and plenty of storage space make the rooms spacious and cosy. Each room has mirrors, modern blinds and alarm clocks with iPod/iPhone docks.


The lounge is modern and spacious, with wooden floors, dimming spotlights and funky lamps. Here you will find a 3-seater sofa and 2 modern armchairs.The Bang and Olufsen Television has integral CD/DVD player and surround sound system. The SKY package is fully comprehensive for your quiet nights in. The micro Hi-Fi docking music system allows you to play music from your iPod/iPad/iPhone or your laptop.And don’t forget that wireless broadband internet is available throughout the property!


From the lounge, you can access the Sun Lounge/Conservatory. This area has been designed for relaxing, while being surrounded by the beautiful scenery from the clifftop. It is furnished with new cane style furniture and roof blinds. In the Sun Lounge you will find a set of binoculars on a tripod, which we have left for guests use. There are fantastic cruise ships and cargo vessels that pass by in the distance. You may also see the Newhaven/Dieppe ferries leaving the harbour further along the cliffs.


The garden is fully decked and on two levels. You may want to seat on the bench on the upper deck, to admire the seaview. Or you may want to enjoy an evening aperitif at the table on the lower deck, with the deck lights on.The garden is professionally maintained and provides access to approximately 7 miles of clifftops walkway. If you bring your dog on holiday with you, this will definitely be his/her favourite spot!You can reach the sea at the bottom of the cliff via some steps located approximately 250 metres from the garden or by ramp, 500 metres from the garden.

Dogs (£50.00 per week)


We welcome well-behaved dogs at the property (one dog per booking). In making this service available we are relying on you to keep your pet under control at all times. In the interest of hygiene and to respect other clients, please do not allow your pet on furniture, in the upstairs bedrooms and particularly on beds. Please see section 7 of our Terms and Conditions for more information.


Cleaner (£10/hour)


We can arrange for a cleaner to be available during your stay at the property. Just specify how many days and how many hours at the time of booking.

Extra bed linens or towel sets (£15 each)


Your accommodation includes one set of bed linens for each bed per week and one set of towels (hand towels and bath towel) per guest. Additional sets of towels and bed linens are available on request.

The nearest airport to Clifftops is Gatwick. We can organise for a car to pick you up from this airport and to take you back at the end of your holiday.
